My beautiful bride Sandy is still doing well . The position of elementary principal of Florence Christian School keeps here extremely busy so much that she has takien a back seat with the Florence Baptist Temple's Womens Ministry. Sandy spends a lot of time working with the students and their parents along with promoting special projects such as FCS's participation in the Florence Christmas parade.

Patrick is now a freshman at North Greenville University at the base of the SC/NC Border Mountains. His current major is sports management. Patrick is three and a half hours away from home so He is able to drive home several times each semester. Patricks senior class from FCS has continued to stay "bonded" as we had 5 boys asleep in the living room the other night and Patrick joked of having the classes six month class reunion Christmas week.

Kristin is 14 and is on the all A's list for the second nine weeks. Krsitin had the opportunity of a lifetime this year when her grandparents took her for a week long excursion to New York City. Ed,Dru and Kristin went under a special trip package that feature several Broadway musicals. We would love to share 550 pictures Kristin took with her camera but we would run out of webspace as They presenta wonderful picture of the Big Apple.

Kristin also was a member of the Florence Christian JV Volleyball team and was a actress in the FCS Annual School Play and sang a duet in the Fall "Evening of the Stage" program. She enjoys computing with her friends and listening to her Ipod........

Our pets are doing well also. Buddy the dog and Rolly the cat have adjusted well to the move to Florence. Patrick's cat Simpson has become a plump homebody still fears to venturing outside unless the door stays open.

Sandy's sister Rhonda and Katie are still in Columbia and doing well as Rhonda is a teacher in the Lexington County School System. Katie is in middle school.

Donald's Mom and Dad celebrated a milestone of 50 years together. We held a surprise gathering for them at the Olive Garden in Florence that was well attended by family and friends.

Sandy's Step in laws Ed and Drucilla Smith are in Mt Pleasant SC at a Franks at Seaside, a retirement subdivision. They also are doing well, we usually see them about every other month as they are 110 miles away ,just inland from the Isle of Palms Connector.

Donald has just passed his 10th year at the South Carolina Forestry Commission as Communications Manager. Donald will be taking a 4% pay cut with 5 days off in the first half of the year but otherwise
It appears his job is stable. Donald still is active with the ham radio stuff but it like a number of things takes its spells. He also is doing some freelance engineering work for a local radio broadcasting group.
